India celebrates 73rd Independence Day

The Nation celebrates its 73rd Independence Day today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the National Flag at the historic Red Fort in Delhi and addressed the nation on the occasion.

Modi was received by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at the Red Fort following which the Prime Minister inspected Guard of Honour. Before arriving at the Red Fort, he paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.

President of India also extended his greetings to the nation.

May those ideals and may that urge to learn and to listen and to become better, may that curiosity and may that fraternalism, always be with us. May it always bless us, and always bless India.
