A major fire broke out in a goods train near Tiruvallur in Tamil Nadu on Sunday morning, resulting in at least three wagons being completely engulfed in flames. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported so far.

Train services along the affected stretch have been temporarily suspended as firefighting operations continue. Fire tenders from Chennai suburban regions and Tiruvallur were swiftly deployed to douse the blaze.

Tiruvallur District Superintendent of Police, Srinivasa Perumal, urged the public to stay away from the site for their safety and to avoid hampering emergency response efforts.

Authorities are currently working to contain the fire and restore normal rail operations in the region.
