Nagaland: 13 Cops Suspended For Misappropriation Of Gold Bars

As many as 13 personnel of the narcotic unit of the Nagaland police department were suspended for allegedly misappropriating ten gold bars without following due procedures.

As per reports, the incident occurred on September 10 when these 13 personnel from the Narcotic Police Station misappropriated ten gold bars without following proper procedures.

A criminal case was filed against the 13 personnel at State Crime Police Station under case No. 005/2021 U/S 120B/420/419/201/202/217/221 the Indian Penal Code IPC.

All 13 personnel have been suspended and a disciplinary investigation into their actions is underway.
