PM Modi greets Sonia Gandhi on her birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leaders from across the political spectrum and party leaders have wished UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Sunday on the occasion of her 72nd birthday.

Prime Minister Modi took to twitter to wish her.

Best wishes to Smt. Sonia Gandhi Ji on her birthday. I pray for her long and healthy life.

TMC chief Mamata Banerjee also wished Sonia Gandhi on her birthday.

Meanwhile, DMK President M K Stalin and Kanimozhi arrived at Sonia Gandhi's residence to wish her and also personally invite her to inaugurate a statue of recently deceased former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi at the DMK's headquarters.

She will also chair a CWC meeting. While Congress has planned different celebrations in various states, before a large get-together scheduled for later in the day.
