PrimeMinister Narendra Modi will chair the fifth meeting of the Governing Council ofNITI Aayog on Saturday, June 15 at Rashtrapati Bhavan with the spirit of 'SabkaSaath Sabka Vikas and Sanka Vishwas.'
The eventwill also be attended by Ministers of Defence, Home Affairs, Finance andCorporate Affairs, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Rural Development andPanchayati Raj as ex-officio members, Vice Chairman, Members, CEO and SeniorOfficers of NITI Aayog.
The main issuesin the agenda before the fifth council meeting are Rainwater Harvesting,drought situation and relief measures, aspirational districtsprogramme-achievements and challenges, transforming agriculture among otherissues.
