Former Governor of Mizoram Aziz Qureshi has made a controversial statement related to Pulwama terror attack of February this year. Qureshi, the former Congress leader, claimed that the attack on the CRPF jawans was "planned" by PM Narendra Modi.
"This was done with planning (Pulwama attack), but people understand everything. If PM Modi wants to be in power by sacrificing the lives of 42 jawans then people will not let that happen," Aziz Qureshi said.

Notably, on 14th February, 40 CRPF jawans were martyred after a Jaish-e-Mohammad suicide attacker had rammed an explosive-laden car into a CRPF bus in Pulwama. The JeM had claimed responsibility for the attack.
