In a shocking turn of events, a person was killed by a mob in Kushinagar, UP after that person killed another person from the village.
As reported, the deceased, who had come to Kushinagar from Gorakhpur on Monday morning, first shot dead the other person inside his house in Kushinagar. He then climbed up to the terrace, and tried to scare away the villagers who had gathered at the spot by firing in the air.
Upon the arrival of Police at the crime scene, the villagers reportedly caught hold of the person and thrashed him to death with sticks and blows.
India Today reported that the Police stood there as mute spectators while the mob took the law into their own hands.
