Raja Raghuvanshi Murder: Two Key Accused Sent to 13-Day Judicial Custody

In a major development in the sensational murder case of Raja Raghuvanshi, a court in Meghalaya has remanded the two prime accused, Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raj Kushwaha, to 13 days of judicial custody, reports said.

On June 19, Sonam and Raj were sent to two days of police custody in connection with Raja Raghuvanshi’s murder in Meghalaya. The other three accused, namely Akash, Vishal, and Anand, have been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody.

On June 17, the Forensic Crime Scene Unit reached Wei Sawdong Falls in Sohra to reconstruct the scene of Raja Raghuvanshi’s murder. The operation was carried out in coordination with the Meghalaya Police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF). The crime scene recreation is being conducted in the presence of all five accused—Sonam Raghuvanshi, Raj Kushwaha, Akash, Vishal, and Anand.
