One more jihadi detained in Barpeta

In amassive breakthrough, the Barpeta Police have detained one more jihadi ahead ofIndependence Day on Sunday. The detainee has been identified as MustafijurRahman.

Actingon a tip off, the jihadi has been detained from Sotola village under Sarukhetriarea. Interestingly dreaded jihadi Sahanur Alom was also a resident of Sotolavillage. Mustafijur is suspected to be in connection with Jamaat-ul-MujahideenBangladesh (JMB).

Itmay be mentioned here that the Barpeta Police have earlier arrested four morejihadis in the district.

Meanwhile,the Barpeta Police are currently interrogating Mustafijur.
