CM meets Hiren Gohain at his residence

As part of the Jan Sampark Abhiyan undertaken by the BJP government both in the centre and in Assam, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal along with BJP state president Ranjit Kumar Das met eminent scholar Hiren Gohain at his residence in Guwahati on Thursday.

For almost an hour and 15 minutes, Sonowal and Das put forward the Modi led government's four year and Sonowal led government's 2 year experience before Gohain.

However, Gohain without hesitation not only criticised the BJP government but also criticised their schemes and their move towards the Citizenship Amendment Bill sternly.

Sonowal and Das also met senior journalist, Kanak Sen Deka on the same day as part of their mission.
