Investigation of APSC Cash for Job Scam is biased: BJP MP RP Sharma

With 19 more officials summoned by the Police for interrogation and forensic test of signature, in relation to the APSC Cash for Job Scam, BJP MP RP Sharma have said that the investigation process is biased and that he can smell conspiracy.

It may be mentioned here that RP Sharma's daughter Pallavi Sharma is one among the 19 officials summoned.

Sharma said "This is a conspiracy to malign my image before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. But they should have targeted me; why has my daughter been targeted?"

The MP also alleged that a few people from within his own party is involved in the conspiracy. "All this is because of allotment of tickets" he added.

Sharma also question the integrity of the investigation, saying that the names of numerous candidates are not included in the list of investigation as they are related to powerful politicians of the state.

"My daughter may be summoned but I shall fully cooperate with the process" the MP said.
