Third Gold For Swimmer Shivangi Sharma

Assam's Shivangi Sharma has won another gold medal on Friday in the ongoing 74th Senior Aquatic Championship 2021 held in Bengaluru. She won gold in the 200 mts freestyle event.

Shivangi finished with timings of 2:7:10 to clinch her third gold in the tournament. She had earlier bagged gold in the 400 mts Freestyle and 100 mts Freestyle events.

The tournament has been going on from  October 26. Shivangi had won the second gold medal on Wednesday in the 100 m free style event with a timing of 59.07 and pushed Tokyo Olympian Shivani Kataria to the third place.

On Tuesday, she clocked an outstanding 4:31:89 mts to win her first gold.

By clinching her third gold, she has created history as no swimmer from Assam had won three golds.
