Virat Kohli becomes fastest to score 20,000 international runs

Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Thursday became the fastest cricketer to reach 20,000 international runs. He achieved the feat in his 417th innings during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 match against West Indies.

Viratsurpassed Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara to reach the milestone. Both Sachinand Lara took 453 innings to reach 20,000 international runs. Also, Kohlibecame the 12th batsman and 3rd Indian after Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravidto reach 20,000 international runs.

Recently, he became the fastest batsman to reach 11,000 ODI runs. He also has 6613 runs in Tests and 2263 runs in T20Is. Virat Kohli made his debut for India in 2010.

Earlier this year, he won the ICC Cricketer of the Year along with ICC Test Cricketer of the Year and ODI Cricketer of the Year.
