‘He Died Like a Dog’: Trump on Baghdadi’s death

US President Donald Trump on Sunday said that Abu Bakral-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State group has "died like adog". Al-Baghdadi was killed in a US military raid in Syria on Saturdaynight.

"Last night, the US brought the world's number oneterrorist to justice. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead," Trump said in his specialaddress from the White House.

Al-Baghdadi died after "running into a dead-endtunnel" and was "whimpering" and "crying all the way," Trump remarked. Trumpalso said that three of his young children were brought with him into thetunnel before he detonated a suicide vest, killing himself and the threechildren.

According to Trump, al-Baghdadi spent his last momentsin utter fear.
