Mass shooting claims 11 lives in US

In yet another incident of mass shooting, not less than 11 persons lost their lives and another six were left injured in US' Virginia on Friday evening.

According to the Police, the incident had taken place at Virginia Beach Municipal Center.

Although the identity of the shooter is not yet disclosed, but it is suspected to be a long-term and current employee at the Centre, who "fired indiscriminately".

However, the gunman died in an exchange of fire with security personnel. A police officer was among the wounded. 

Mayor Bobby Dyer said, "This is the most devastating day in the history of Virginia Beach," adding, "People involved friends, co-workers, neighbors, colleagues."
