5 killed in US shooting

Inyet another shocking incident of shooting, four people and the gunman werekilled and 21 people sustained serious injuries on a highway Odessa in WesternTexas.

Accordingto reports, the incident took place at around 4:30 PM (local time). Reportedlyan armed man hijacked a truck and opened fire at motorists on the Highway 191.The highway connects the Midland and Odessa cities.

PoliceChief Michael Gerke stated that it was a male shooter in his 30s. However, theidentity and the motive of the shooting were not disclosed.

It maybe mentioned here that this is the second mass shooting in Texas this month. Fourweeks ago, a gunman killed 22 people in El Paso.
