At least six people were injured and a Frontier Corps (FC) official killed after an Army Aviation helicopter crash landed near the Eastern bypass in Balochistan's capital city of Quetta in Pakistan. The chopper caught fire after the crash.
Reportedly, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan army, the helicopter was on a medical mission when it made an emergency landing in the city.
The ISPR stated that a wounded official of the FC who was traveling in the chopper lost his life before the crash landing.
The Quetta Deputy Inspector General (DIG) has informed that the injured have been taken to the Combined Military Hospital.
The reason for the crash is yet to be ascertained.
