If you (India) will take one step forward, we will take two steps forward, says PTI Chief Imran Khan

While the final results are yet to be announced by the Pakistan Election Commission, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) is clearly inching closer to victory in the Pakistan elections, leading with 119 seats out of 272, cementing party leader Imran Khan's place as the new Prime Minister of the country.

Imran Khan, who has won the NA-95 Mianwali constituency in Punjab, spoke about the urgent need for Pakistan's development and good governance in his maiden speech after the unofficial results were out.

Outlining his foreign policy, the Pakistani leader stated that he would like to improve relations with India. He also mentioned Kashmir as the core subject of conflict and said that the two countries should come to the table to resolve the issue through dialogue.

"We should sit across and resolve the issues instead of we blaming India for problems in Balochistan and they blaming us for problems in Kashmir. I can say that if you (India) will take one step forward, we will take two steps forward," Khan asserted.

Khan also mentioned improving ties with China, Afghanistan, United States and Saudi Arabia, while mentioning that Pakistan would like to be a part of the Middle East's placation process.

Assuring the masses that the Pakistan polls were conducted in a free and fair manner, the Election Commission of Pakistan announced that the final results would be out on Friday.
