“Chinese companies to be banned in Highway projects” – Nitin Gadkari

Within days of a ban on 59 Chinese applications, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways and MSMEs, Nitin Gadkari informed today that India will not allow Chinese companies to participate in highway projects. As reported by PTI, he also said that Chinese companies will be kept away from many sectors like the MSME industry.

Gadkari reportedly added that a policy banning Chinese firms and making things easier for the Indian firms with respect to participation in the highway projects would be out soon.
