Pratidin Bureau

Actress Anushka Sharma and her husband cricketer Virat Kohli have reportedly been served a legal notice by the man who was scolded by the actress in a recent social media post for littering in public.

The man, Arhhan Singh, allegedly sent Anushka and Virat the legal notice on Sunday for defamation on social media.

"Hi. My legal advisors have sent a notice to Mr Virat Kohli and Mrs Anushka Sharma Kohli. As the ball is in their court, no comments now. As in all fairness I should await their response," Arrhan said.

The video was shared by Virat Kohli on June 16 and went viral. It showed Anushka scolding a man for throwing plastic out of a car's window.

The video received mixed reactions from fans. The man and his mother have called out the celebrity couple for not respecting their privacy and using the situation for publicity.
