Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' will not be released in Karnataka as distributors are not willing to release the film, following the actor's comments on the Cauvery issue, decided the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday.

Rajinikanth had supported the Supreme Court's order that asked Karnataka to give Tamil Nadu its share of Cauvery water.

The film is scheduled to release on June 07 across the country.

Rajnikant on Wednesday expressed hope that the issue of ban on 'Kaala' will be solved by the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce.
