Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali set to launch first ayurvedic medicine to cure COVID19

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's company Patanjali Ayurved claimed to have made the first Ayurvedic medicine 'Coronil and Swasari' to cure coronavirus (COVID19).

Acharya Balkrishna, MD of Patanjali Ayurved on Tuesday said the medicine will help in combating the deadly virus by treating the respiratory system.

Patanjali has claimed the clinical trials were jointly conducted by Patanjali Research Institute, Haridwar, and National Institute of Medical Sciences, Jaipur.

Patanjali claims those administered the medicine were fully cured and none died claiming 69 percent of them recovered within three days and 100 percent recovery was seen in seven days.

The medicine comes as part of a kit comprising tablets named Coronil and Swasari Vati, and oil called Anu Oil. Active compounds of Ashwagandha, Giloy, and Tulsi in the new Covid-19 medicine.

The kit will be sold at rupees 545.
