Three armed Naga men held in Sibsagar

Three Naga men have been arrested in connection with illegal arms supply by the 17th Para field regiment, Assam Police and CRPF on Monday at Haluating in Sibsagar district.

Reportedly, a pistol has been recovered from them.

As per reports, they were going to sale the weapon to a resident of Nepalibasti.

The accused have been identified as Yanggar Ayar, Pantang Alkare and Nungsung Ayar of Yangsangbasti in Nagaland.
The squad of Para field regiment, Assam Police and CRPF has seized a motor cycle and mobile handsets.
