An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted Northeastern region on Thursday. No casualties have been reported so far.

The quake occurred at 7.41 p.m. According to reports, the tremors were felt in Guwahati and other parts of Assam. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property.
