4 Rescued, 1 Missing After Boat Capsizes In Brahmaputra
- One person is missing and four others rescued after a boat capsized In Brahmaputra river, this evening.
- As per reports, Kanak Mazumder, Arup Kalita, Junmoni Mahanta, Ratneswar Das had been rescued.
- The boat was on its way to Rani Sapari, when it capsized.
- Naba Kalita is still missing.
- The search and rescue operation for the fifth occupant of the boat is still under way.
- The state ferry services suspended from plying over Brahmaputra and Barak river till 5th May due to Cyclone FANI. However, the boat was plying over the river secretly – Reports said.
