5 girls, 1 boy rescued from trafficker at Rangiya Junction

The child and women rescue team of Railway Police Force (RPF) on June 04 rescued five girls and one boy at Rangiya Junction.

During a regular check, which is a part of their drive against trafficking, the team found the rescued girls and boy along with a lady sitting in suspicious manner at the second class waiting hall.

On being questioned, they could not give satisfactory replies after which the RPF team apprehended the lady trafficker who has been identified as one Rohila Basumatary.

The rescued girls and boy are kept at Rangiya Post for further action.
