6 people from one family have tested positive for COVID-19 in Prafulla Nagar, Mangaldoi.

Their names are Sukhlal Das, Dinowa Das and Narmada Das. The rest are kids, two of 3 years and one of 6 years.

In another case, in a family in Puniya, 4 people so far have tested positive.

President of Zila Parishad Dhirendra Deka has been found to be carrying the contagion.

Darrang so far has recorded 29 positive cases today. The tally of the total infected people stands at 573 in Darrang.
