Accident: 3 killed, at least 4 injured in Goalpara

In yet another tragic accident, three persons died on the spot and at least four persons were severely injured after a passenger (with registration number AS-01-FC-0401) bus and a Bolero pick up van (with registration number AS-26-C-6036) collided head-on in Dhupdhara under Goalpara district in the early hours of Friday.

According to eyewitness, the speeding Bolero pick up van collided with the bus, which was coming from the opposite direction. Following the accident, the locals immediately admitted the injured to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, police after reaching the spot started their investigation. The deceased are yet to be identified till the filing of this report.
