Again Black Flags Waved At CM Sonowal

Protesting against the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, the members of All Assam Students' Union (AASU) waved black at Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal once again in Dhakuakhana on Thursday.

Sonowal went to take part in the central celebration of Me-Dam-Me-Phi. The AASU members waved black flags at him, after he landed from a helicopter in Dhakuakhana. The protesters also shouted slogans against the CM and the Bill.

It should be mentioned that, in protest against the contentious Bill, black flags were waved at CM Sonowal on various occasions and in different part of the State. It may be mentioned that, almost all the senior leaders of Assam BJP including Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Ranjeet Dass had to face the wrath of public on their way on different occasions.
