Ajmal Foundation announces Rs. 1 lakh each for top rankers

AjmalFoundation on Sunday announced that it will felicitate the first three rankholders of all the three streams with Rs. 1 lakh each. The foundation today presenteda cheque worth Rs. 2 lakh as financial assistance to Manik Ray, who secured 9thrank in the Higher Secondary examination 2019. Dhubri MP and chairman of thefoundation Badruddin Ajmal felicitated Manik and handed over the cheque to him.

"Theresult Manik Ray is not only a matter of pride for his parents and teachers butalso a source of inspiration for many aspiring youths of the State. We will alsofelicitate 13 students, who secured the first three ranks in Science, Arts andCommerce streams with a financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh each," said a memberof the foundation.

Notably, Manik was a student of the college, run by the Ajmal Foundation. He scored 466 marks and secured 9th position in Arts stream. He secured 88 marks in English, 93 marks in Assamese, 96 in Political Science, 93 in Education and 96 marks in History. The foundation also took the responsibility of Manik's higher studies.

Further, the members of the Ajmal Foundation also asked the poor students in the State to contact them for any kind of assistance.
