Arunachal All Set to Celebrate Ziro Music Festival

The state ofArunachal Pradesh is all set to celebrate the eighth edition of Ziro MusicFestival starting September 26 and to conduct the festival peacefully acoordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of deputy commissionerChukhu Takar at Ziro.

During thecourse of the meeting, issues pertaining to security, law and order, trafficmanagement, curbing drug menace, fire services and regulations of campsites,food safety registration etc. were discussed in detail.

DC Takar saidthat they want all the tourists to feel safe and enjoy their stay at Ziroduring the ZMF which shall require the cooperation of all the stakeholders.

TownMagistrate Bamin Tarang, while reviewing the security arrangements said that atemporary police beat office shall be set up in the vicinity of the ZMF groundto tackle any untoward incident.

He furtherstated that the festival committee shall also arrange sufficient volunteers forsecurity and traffic management to add to the arrangements of the districtadministration.

Tarang statedthat as more than 25 campsites have been set up to accommodate the tourists, itis necessary to regulate and monitor these sites.

The officialfurther added that the owners of the campsites shall register their camps withthe DTO office and also provide the list of campers to the office.
