Assam Floods: Dibru Saikhowa National Park At Risk

The flood situation caused by the Dibru River in Tinsukia district has turned quite alarming.

Posing a direct threat to the famous Dibru Saikhowa National Park, the raging floodwaters have already washed away the Erahuti village situated in close proximity to the national park.

The flood has wreaked havoc upon around 130 families of the village by destroying their properties.

The Erahuti Primary School also runs the risk of being washed away by the floodwaters.
