Assam Foreigners’ Tribunals to go digital

To cope up with world going digital, all data of Assam's Foreigners'Tribunal, including foreigners' information, biometric will be digitalised.

It comes as a Centre's decision to make digital facilitiesavailable, which will enable recognition of a foreigner possible from anycorner of the country.

Ministry of Home Affairs is at present taking the matterunder discussion.

Information of the Border Police, organisations of the state government, Home Ministry and Foreigners' Tribunal will be available.
