70 organisations including All Assam Students' Union (AASU), Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS), Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chhatra Parishad (AJYCP) are observing a Black Day (Ghrina Diwas) today as a protest demanding the cancellation of the Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2016.

Places like Nagaon, Lakhimpur in Assam are seeing massive eruption of protests.

DC Office, BJP headquarters have been gheraod by the protestors and black flags are4 being hoisted in front of these offices.

According to reports, in various places black flags are being used to protest.

From Sadiya to Dhubri people of Assam have come forward to show their disapproval towards the Citizenship Amendment Bill.
