Assam Police takes serious note of Doboka Rape

The Assam Police has arrested three men who had allegedly gang-raped a girl in Doboka.

"Those arrested so far include Sahid Ahmed, Dilwar Hussain, Gulab Hussain. Police are being conducted operation to arrest the two other accused." – Director General of Police (DGP) Kuladhar Saikia said.

Saikia said police investigations have revealed that five men were involved in the gang rape of the young woman. Meanwhile, on Thursday Deputy Inspector General of Police (CR) Dilip Kumar Dey visited the spot where the incident took place.

According to reports, the incident took place in Dighaljarani village, when the minor on her way to a relative's house with her brother in law. The miscreants attacked both of them and dragged the girl to a jungle, where they executed the crime.
