Assam Registers Another 2 Deaths of COVID-19, Toll Reaches 14

Assam registered another two deaths of COVID-19 on Thursday, informed State Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through his twitter handle. The death toll in the state rose to 14 with these two deaths.

The two persons have been identified as Late Prabhudayal Vidawatka (78) and Late Subhash Kalita (56).

The minister in his tweet said, "With heavy heart, I share this with you all ~ We've lost two precious lives to the pandemic. Late Prabhudayal Vidawatka (78) & Late Subhash Kalita (56), with comorbidities succumbed to #COVID19."

My prayers and condolences are with Vidawatka and Kalita families, the minister tweeted.
