Assam's bodybuilding sensation Golap Rabha of Boko has brought laurels for the state yet again in the international arena. He bagged two gold medals in the Mr Universe and Pro Mr Asia 2018 held in Thailand on November 24 and 25.

35 year old Golap Rabha hails from Boko, a sleepy town in Assam 65 kms from Guwahati. He started training under Jiten Kalita in 2003 and started winning various titles since 2008. Earlier, he had won Mr India in 2017 and 2018 and Mr Asia in 2018. In October, Rabha had bagged three gold medals at the World Fitness Federation (WFF)-World Body Building Federation (WBBF) Amber Prix Championships in Lithuania. Golap Rabha also runs a gym in Boko and has been a huge inspiration for upcoming bodybuilders in Assam.
