Black allergy: CM orders probe into Bihali incident

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Tuesday evening ordered a probe into the shocking incident, where a toddler was made to remove his black jacket at an event attended by the CM in Bihali under Biswanath district on Tuesday noon. CM Sonowal ordered Assam DGP Kuladhar Saikia to investigate the incident. However, the CM refrained from commenting on the matter in front of media.

Meanwhile, addressing a press meet this evening, Biswanath SP Rakesh Roshan informed that there was no restriction on wearing black clothes to the event attended by CM Sonowal.

Although he has not denied that security forces were ordered to check every person entering at the event to ensure that they did not carry black flags, black handkerchiefs, black mufflers or black scarves.

The SP also informed that they will initiate an investigation to the whole incident.
