In an utter inhuman incident, the body of a newborn baby was found abandoned near a culvert on Thursday morning. The newborn was found lying near the culvert inside a bag.

Locals after noticing a body of the newborn informed police and civil hospital, but unfortunately, nothing could be done and the baby had to be declared dead.

Meanwhile, police reached the scene for further investigations. "It's unclear how long the newborn had been left in the road," said police. They are now looking for the newborn's mother.
