Bogibeel Bridge to open this October: Railway Minister

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, while interacting with media persons on Monday, announced  that the Bogibeel Bridge shall be opened for public in October this year.

Goyal further added that there will be no more delay in opening the bridge.

He also said that one lakh vacancies are being filled up in the Railways and urged the youth from the northeastern region to take advantage of the opportunity.

It may be mentioned here that the bridge, located in Dibrugarh district over the Brahmaputra, will be the longest rail-cum-road bridge in India.
