The AssamLegislative Assembly has begun its monsoon session from today and is scheduledto go on till August 01. However, on the first day itself, a chaotic situationerupted in the Assembly.

Floods and erosion topped the priority list of today's topics of discussion. But, it was witnessed that an atmosphere of anarchy prevailed in the assembly as Congress MLAs wanted to discuss on the flood issue immediately at the start.

The MLAs protested with placards inside the Assembly.

It may be noted that the CAG Report will be presented at the Assembly today.

Meanwhile, 10 Bills are set to be raised in this monsoon session. Special discussion will be taken up pertaining to Barak.
