Childline has rescued a 14 years old girl with the help of Odali Police from Pipal Pukhuri in Lanka of Nagaon district on Friday.

The name of the child is Kajal Das and her family members wanted toperform her marriage ceremony secretly today.

Meanwhile, someone informed Childline about the child marriage and withthe help of police they rescued the child and handed over to Nagaon state home.
