CM hands over appointment letter to martyr’s daughter

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Sunday visited the residence of martyr CRPF Jawan Moneswar Basumatary at Tamulpur under Baksa district. It was martyr Basumatary's 'Adya Shradha' today. Assam CM offered his tribute to the brave soldier on the occasion.

CM Sonowal handed over an appointment letter to the martyr Basumatary's daughter Didwmsri Basumatary for the post of Assistant Tourist Information Officer under Directorate of Tourism, Assam. Her appointment has been approved as a very special case and in relaxation of existing rules, provisions and guidelines.

The CM also interacted with the family members of the martyr and said that heroes like martyr Moneswar Basumatary would continue to inspire generations of people to serve the nation with commitment and dedication.
