CM inaugurates Lakwa Replacement Power Project at Maibela

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on May 26 inaugurated the Lakwa Replacement Power Project at Maibella in Charaideo district.

The project site consists of seven interconnected Gas Engine Generating Sets which will boost state-of-the-art technology driven power generation in the region.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the CM said that the project shall boost his government's goal to achieve self-reliance in power generation and promote industrialisation.

"The project shall also generate employment avenues for the youth of the state" he added.
