Coal-syndicate | Pradyut continues attack on Sonowal

Pratidin Bureau

Nagaon MP Pradyut Bordoloi on Tuesday again raised the controversial coal-syndicate issue in the parliament during Zero hour.

Launching a blistering attack on the Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Bordoloi said all the reserve forests are now on the verge of extinction due to coal syndicate but the Chief Minister is not bothered.

He also alleged that the administration, forest department and the Assam government are involved in the coal-syndicate that has been going on in various places in the state.

Challenging CM Sonowal and Minister of Industry and Commerce Chandra Mohan Patowary, Bordoloi proposed in the parliament to form a panel to probe into the coal-syndicate issue.
