The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Laharighat Police Station, Nava Kumar Saikia, has tested positive for COVID-19 today.

A Rapid test conducted on him revealed his positive status.

The officer, who reportedly has been at the forefront of the fight against the pandemic from the beginning, is presently in quarantine.
