COVID-19: 28 patients critical in GMCH

In a recent update, Assam's health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday informed 28 out of  30 patients infected with coronavirus (COVID-19) are in a critical condition.

The 30 patients are admitted to the ICU at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. One of the patients in a critical condition was donated plasma.

It is noteworthy, the plasma therapy has been launched at GMCH from today and Dr. Lithikeshwar will look after the department.

Meanwhile, the minister also took stock of the progress and facilities available at the GMCH COVID-19 hospital.
