Do you think APSC will ever change?

Pratidin Bureau

To make theAPSC free from allegations of corruption and favouritism, Sonowal-led stategovernment had taken necessary steps before the 2018 APSC examination, but thisdream becomes a far cry.

After the conclusion of Rakesh Paul's regime, the people ofAssam also expected a corruption free administrative system in APSC.

BUT THIS IS REALITY

A total of 92 mistakes had been found in the answer keys of the Assam Civil Services examination 2018, forcing the APSC to declare the results twice.

The examination was held on December 30, 2018.

The first list of the eligible candidates was announced on March 13, while the second one was issued on April 30.

3,361 candidates had cleared the preliminary examination on the basis of wrong answer keys.

In the second list after the re- evaluation, 408 more candidates were allowed to write the mains examination.

The second result list was issued on April 30. However, the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) yet to upload the answer copies on their website.

From the most prestigious APSC (Assam Public Service Commission) exams to the distribution of ration cards, corruption cases had come out in almost every corner of the administration. Then how can we expect a corruption free state from Sonowal governance?
