Drug Peddlers Arrested in Arunachal

In a major crackdown against themenace of drug markets mushrooming at an alarming pace in and around the borderlocation between Assam's Margherita and Changlang District of ArunachalPradesh, team Changlang Police in association with F-149 unit of Changlang CRPlead by Inspector C.A. Namchoom apprehended 3 drug peddlers on Wednesday besidesrecovering around 83 grams of suspected drug contraband from the possession ofthe three anti-social elements separately on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Changlang Police, the apprehended persons hailed from Margherita and Dibrugarh based were identified as Md Sofi Shah (33) of Borgolai Telkhat  Basti, Ghanshyam Pradhan(46 ) of Margherita Tinali and Md. Ijaz Khan(22)  son of Younis Khan, of Loharpatti Gali no2 under Dibrugarh Police Station.
