In a gruesome incident, a teenager was killed by his elder brother after he thrashed him with a bamboo stick. The incident took place at Mayanguri area in Morigaon, on Saturday morning.

According to reports, both engaged in a heated argument over the household chores. Following which the elder brother thrashed his younger brother Kushal Konwar with a bamboo stick.

Unable to bear the injuries caused by beating, the 12-year old Kushal succumbed to his injuries at the Morigaon Civil Hospital.

Meanwhile, police after registering a case initiated an investigation to the incident. The elder brother is currently absconding after the incident.
